Up until this point my life has been
A collage of empty nights depleting me until
I have fragmented nothingness
Deep within my heart
You, so nameless to the public eye,
Make ramblings art, you
Transform a mess of void shards into
Tar – which forms my macadam road
Straight path to the cerebrum,
Just for you, just so you cannot
Possibly get lost
Bluish-black balloons pop misfortune
Upon my weary, ashen forehead
As you laugh symmetry
And lash philosophy to the dusky places of my life
I could dwindle in my mind for hours
Amongst “you” papers and
Other poetry, seeking the deeper meaning.
“finding myself” in seashores,
Plastic bags or parliament –
Whatever story you’d like to hear me tell
Upon your illusory isle
Fishhooks are back again, the nape
Of my neck an open target.
I can tell I’m fading and I’m aware
You’re nothing to me, nothing but
Infatuation in a myriad of stars.
I could let you go, freedom to the roads
Betwixt your archaic pipe dreams and
I, the collage of nothingness that was shattered
Upon stained glass and computer screens
Into a thousand tongues all screaming out,
“Reality.”

As Zanyplebeian said, this was very complex. It was sort of hard to understand. but I liked it anyway. Very good job

This is a very complex poem, but I really liked it. The only thing that could really be changed would be that complexity; some of the thoughts/ideas extend on line through line and are hard to keep a grip on, at times.
